Washington High School as embraced by the total school and community population to provide an educational program in a safe, caring environment for all students that will help them develop and grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually so that each individual student can become a productive, viable member of society."

UNDAUNTED LEGACY

"Booker T. Washington High School is a school with a unique history. Its original faculty was selected from all over the South. Only those applicants with the highest credentials were chosen as teachers. The school was featured in a layout of LIFE Magazine in 1950. The legacy of this beginning is still nurtured at BTW and by its Distinguished Graduates throughout the World.  BTW offers a career path education for all students including six magnet components:  Honors and Advanced Placement, Business Academy, Notary Public, Caddo Computer Science Center, Telecommunications and Cosmetology/Barbering Magnet Programs."

(PTSA)

"THE BEST POSSIBLE EDUCATION FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE is the primary goal of the PTSA. Parents, teachers and students are encouraged to join. Dues are Ten Dollars for Parents, Teachers and Community Support, and Four Dollars for Students."
